CNM: Eisner Pediatric and Family Medical Center

We are seeking an experienced midwife to join our team. Established more than 25 years ago, our practice focuses on providing comprehensive women’s health care to an inner city, underserved population with an interdisciplinary group of professionals who work in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).  Our births occur in a community hospital adjacent to the clinic.  We supervise midwife and medical students, as well as residents from several Family Medicine and OG/GYN education programs.  Our clinical areas of practice include a high-volume Obstetric Triage and Labor & Delivery unit with approximately 4500 births per year. We offer hydrotherapy to eligible low risk women.  In the outpatient setting, select midwives work collaboratively with MFM physicians in our high risk clinic, we offer Centering Pregnancy group prenatal care in both English and Spanish, and we offer a full range of contraception, including Essure Sterilization.  We are seeking candidates with a love of academic teaching and mentoring, a devotion to clinical excellence, superb interpersonal skills and a desire for personal career development. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package with an adjunct faculty appointment opportunity at USC School of Medicine.
