LAC+USC is seeking a full-time nurse midwife. Our practice serves both low and high risk women in the hospital setting who utilize Medi-Cal. The ideal candidate is passionate about public health, collaboration, and education. The midwives work closely with physicians in collaborative practice to serve high risk women. This population of women benefit greatly from the midwifery philosophy of care that respects diversity and individuality, supports informed decision making, values therapeutic relationship, and advocates for non-intervention in normal processes. Our midwives are valued participants in OB resident education and supervise for normal vaginal deliveries and other procedures within the midwifery scope of practice.
The midwives work in outpatient OB clinic and 12 hour shifts on Labor and Delivery and OB triage. Midwives are employees of the LA County Department of Health Services which offers a generous benefits package and salaries commensurate with RN and CNM years of experience. Previous teaching hospital experience and Spanish proficiency beneficial.

CNM: Eisner Pediatric and Family Medical Center
Eisner Health is a community clinic and designated FQHC in a medically underserved area of downtown Los Angeles. We are seeking a certified nurse-midwife interested in full-scope midwifery practice. We provide comprehensive women’s health care services including pregnancy care, gynecological care and offer all contraceptive methods. Deliveries are done at a local community hospital, California Hospital Medical Center. Our enhanced services include Centering Pregnancy, high risk ob care, Water Hydrotherapy, VBAC, and gynecological surgeries.
The ideal candidate is a team player who is flexible and interested in a midwifery model of care in a collaborative practice. We train and supervise learners from midwifery and medical schools and residency programs.
Qualifications include: AMCB certified nurse-midwife with active California RN license, NMW certification along with BCLS and NRP certification. CA NMW furnishing license and DEA required. Experience preferred. Spanish proficiency beneficial. Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.

CNM: Kaiser Permanente Panorama City
This is a full-time, full-scope position. Experience preferred. The CNM position at KP, PC is for a CNM who can hit the ground running. We do approximately 200 deliveries per month and take care of anyone who is not less than 35 weeks. We co-manage diabetics, hypertensives and other co-morbidities with our MD colleagues. We are mostly on L&D but also see women in the clinic.
We work 24s, 16s, 12s, 8s and 4s. Coverage on L&D is 365 days/year. We are a small but mighty group of CNMs, and the senior leaders in our group have been there for 20+ years.

CNM: UCLA Health
The nurse-midwife will independently manage women's healthcare, focusing particularly on pregnancy, childbirth, the postpartum period, family planning, and preventative health care and health promotion. The nurse-midwife will do consultation, collaborative management or referral as indicated by the health status of the client. The nurse-midwife will work in both an outpatient clinic setting and inpatient hospital Labor and Delivery. At UCLA, the nurse-midwives also participate in OB resident and nurse-midwife student teaching.
